About Storefront Images USA

Storefront Images USA is a division of infoUSA.

InfoUSA’s new three-dimensional business database combines a digital image of each business storefront, the business’ longitude and latitude (geocode), and traditional data captured by InfoUSA.
Collection Process
Over the next two years, InfoUSA will collect photos of every business in 9,000 Zip Codes in the largest 100 U.S. Metropolitan Statistical Areas.

InfoUSA data collectors use a portable system as they walk door-to-door collecting the desired information on the businesses in their target area. Images are transferred very quickly to the home office via Internet connections.

Images and Geocodes are linked to business data by address and IUSA number. Images were first available in January 2005.

For locations with multiple businesses (strip malls, office buildings) a photograph of each unit will be taken whenever possible.
